Frequently Asked Questions
How does the adjustment system work?
The buckle has a screw on the back, allowing it to be completely removed. Cut the excess leather to the desired length, make a small hole for the screw, then re-screw the buckle — this can be done at home or by a cobbler in 5 minutes.
What size should I choose?
Order your usual waist size in cm. Available sizes: 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115 and 120 cm. If your size is out of stock, take the next size up and adjust it using the buckle screw.
Why a brass buckle rather than a zamak one?
Zamak (zinc alloy) oxidizes and turns grayish. Solid brass, on the other hand, develops a golden patina that enhances the piece. Stronger, more noble, designed to last for decades.
Full-grain leather or bonded leather?
Full-grain leather is the top layer of the hide — the densest and most durable. It retains the natural fiber structure and develops a patina. Reconstituted leather (split), used on most belts on the market, does not allow this.
Is the belt made in Italy?
Yes, entirely. The calf leather is tanned in traditional Italian tanneries, the brass buckle is made in Italy, and the final assembly is carried out in a leather goods workshop in Milan.
