We'll start with the leathers
Jérôme introduces the four families — plonge lambskin, suede lambskin, suede calfskin, deerskin. You touch, you compare. He explains how each material evolves with wear, how it ages, and what it looks like on a silhouette. The 120+ colors are displayed here, suspended, under the natural light of the Passage Verdeau. It is often here that the project takes an unexpected turn.
We're putting on the models
All models are in stock. You try on those that appeal to you — and sometimes those you wouldn't have thought to try. Jérôme assesses the silhouette with you. We refine the waist, the length of the jacket. We discuss the collar — round neck, stand-up collar, shirt collar. The cuffs — zip, snap button, or nothing. The lining. Each detail is decided together, one by one.
We measure. We summarize. We launch.
Sleeve lengths are measured directly on you — they are integrated into the manufacturing process. You will leave with a detailed quote, an estimated delivery date, and a complete summary by email. The order can be finalized on site or in the following days, at your own pace.

The Atelier Bertrand showroom is nestled in the Passage Verdeau, one of Paris's last 19th-century covered passages, opened in 1846. Located between Opéra Garnier and Grand Rex, a 3-minute walk from Grands Boulevards station (lines 8 and 9), the passage connects Boulevard Montmartre to Rue de la Grange Batelière. A peaceful interlude in the heart of the 9th arrondissement.

Do I have to make an appointment?
Yes. The showroom operates by appointment only — to guarantee you an uninterrupted hour with Jérôme. Reservations can be made online via Calendly or WhatsApp.
Should I order on the day of the appointment?
Absolutely not. Many customers come for the first time to see and touch, and then order at their own pace. There is no sales pressure.
Can I bring someone with me?
Of course - many clients come with others. Just let us know when booking so that the space can be comfortable for everyone.
Are there any leather jackets to take away immediately?
Yes. A selection of ready-to-wear jackets is available starting from €990, in stock and deliverable within 48 hours. You can try them on at the showroom and leave with one if your size is available.
How do I get to Passage Verdeau?
Grands Boulevards metro station (lines 8 and 9), a 3-minute walk away. Entrance via Boulevard Montmartre or Rue de la Grange Batelière. The showroom is at number 31.
What if I can't travel to Paris?
We offer full video appointments for clients in the provinces and abroad. We send leather samples beforehand if needed. Same level of advice, same result.
