Genuine customer reviews.

"I had been following the publications for some time and was eagerly awaiting my trip to Paris to see the pieces in person. The experience confirmed all the good things I had heard. The leathers are remarkable, both high-end, ethical, and respectful. The jackets and blousons are characterized by a sleek, elegant, and timeless style, with an exceptional level of finish down to the lining. An address I recommend without reservation."

"I discovered Atelier Bertrand while looking for THE JACKET, that special piece, the one that has that little something extra. I've been buying leather jackets for over 25 years: Schott, Chevignon, Redskins... I just bought my 4th jacket, it's incredible, the leather really catches the light. The quality is magnificent. Jérôme is passionate and helpful. I'm not looking anymore..."

"I was looking for a quality leather jacket in a color other than black. I came across a military green plonge lambskin one and fell in love with it. The leather felt incredibly soft, something I had never experienced before, and I've received many compliments. Jérôme gives excellent advice."

"Following the article published on Comme Un Camion, I made an appointment to discover the different jackets and colors. I chose a shirt collar to which I added a sheepskin collar for more character. The quality is exceptional, I'm delighted!"

"In my search for a sleek and chic perfecto-style jacket, I met Jérôme who was able to create the jacket I had in mind. No chest zipper, but instead a blazer-style chest pocket for this brown perfecto that I love to wear."

Questions about this model

FAQ

What defines the Biker N1?

The Biker N1 is our most pared-back biker. Its signature is the functional forearm zips, a perfecto detail that structures the sleeve without cluttering the silhouette. The cut is fitted and close to the body, in the perfecto tradition. Shown in red plongé lambskin, it can be made in the leather and colour of your choice.

How do I choose my size for the Biker N1?

The Biker N1 has a fitted cut, worn close to the body like a perfecto. If you are between two sizes, take your usual size. As each jacket is made to order, we adjust the body and sleeve lengths with you when you order.

How do I care for the Biker N1 leather?

Care depends on the leather you choose. Plongé lambskin should be nourished once or twice a year with a leather lotion; deerskin mostly needs a soft cloth. In every case, avoid prolonged exposure to damp, and the leather will develop a lovely patina over time.

Can the Biker N1 be customised?

Yes. The Biker N1 is available in all our leathers and more than 120 colours. You choose the leather, the colour and the finishes. The best way is to come and see and feel the leathers at the showroom before confirming your configuration.

Where is the Biker N1 made, and how long does it take?

Each Biker N1 is made to order in our workshop in the heart of Paris. Allow 4 to 6 weeks between confirming your order and delivery — the time it takes to select the hide, cut it and assemble your jacket to your lengths.

What is the price of the Biker N1, and can I try it on?

The customisable Biker N1 is €1,470. You can try it on and have your measurements taken at our showroom, 31 Passage Verdeau, Paris 9th, by appointment. It is also a chance to compare the leathers and colours in person.
