Bomber Jacket

The classic Bomber, with just the right functional details: two flap pockets, a zipped pocket on the left sleeve, and a back pleat that frees your movement. The contrast between body and pocket colours is chosen when you order.

Every piece is Made in France, made to order in our Paris workshop. Production takes 4 to 6 weeks — not because it's slow, but because every leather jacket is unique.

Genuine customer reviews.

"I had been following the publications for some time and was eagerly awaiting my trip to Paris to see the pieces in person. The experience confirmed all the good things I had heard. The leathers are remarkable, both high-end, ethical, and respectful. The jackets and blousons are characterized by a sleek, elegant, and timeless style, with an exceptional level of finish down to the lining. An address I recommend without reservation."

"I discovered Atelier Bertrand while looking for THE JACKET, that special piece, the one that has that little something extra. I've been buying leather jackets for over 25 years: Schott, Chevignon, Redskins... I just bought my 4th jacket, it's incredible, the leather really catches the light. The quality is magnificent. Jérôme is passionate and helpful. I'm not looking anymore..."

"I was looking for a quality leather jacket in a color other than black. I came across a military green plonge lambskin one and fell in love with it. The leather felt incredibly soft, something I had never experienced before, and I've received many compliments. Jérôme gives excellent advice."

"In my search for a sleek and chic perfecto-style jacket, I met Jérôme who was able to create the jacket I had in mind. No chest zipper, but instead a blazer-style chest pocket for this brown perfecto that I love to wear."

Questions about this model

FAQ

What defines the bomber jacket?

The bomber is a timeless classic: a straight cut through the chest, ribbing at the collar, cuffs and waist, and a look that is both sporty and smart. Ours adds flap pockets, a zipped sleeve pocket and a back pleat.

What is the back pleat for?

The back pleat gives more room across the shoulders and makes movement easier, without breaking the line of the jacket. A comfort detail that is useful every day, and on a motorbike too.

Can I play with the colours of the body and pockets?

Yes. The model is shown in black plongé lambskin with olive pockets, but you choose every colour, from more than 120 shades. We create the contrast you want, or a more understated tone-on-tone.

Where is this bomber jacket made?

It is made to order in our Paris workshop — Made in France. Small-batch production, consistent finishing and a fit adjusted to your lengths.

What is the price, and can I try it on?

The customisable bomber is €1,470. Book an appointment at our showroom, 31 Passage Verdeau, Paris 9th, to see the leathers, try on the models and have your measurements taken.

How do I care for plongé lambskin?

Plongé lambskin is soft, silky and easy to live with. A soft cloth, a nourishing leather lotion once or twice a year, and no prolonged exposure to damp. It develops a beautiful patina over time.
