Trucker Jacket

The Trucker translates the denim jacket into leather: yokes, short length, solid brass snap buttons with no trace of nickel. In goat suede, it takes on a soft matte finish, very different from smooth leather.

Every piece is Made in France, made to order in our Paris workshop. Production takes 4 to 6 weeks — not because it's slow, but because every leather jacket is unique.

★★★★★

"I had been following the publications for some time and was eagerly awaiting my trip to Paris to see the pieces in person. The experience confirmed all the good things I had heard. The leathers are remarkable, both high-end, ethical, and respectful. The jackets and blousons are characterized by a sleek, elegant, and timeless style, with an exceptional level of finish down to the lining. An address I recommend without reservation."

"I discovered Atelier Bertrand while looking for THE JACKET, that special piece, the one that has that little something extra. I've been buying leather jackets for over 25 years: Schott, Chevignon, Redskins... I just bought my 4th jacket, it's incredible, the leather really catches the light. The quality is magnificent. Jérôme is passionate and helpful. I'm not looking anymore..."

"I was looking for a quality leather jacket in a color other than black. I came across a military green plonge lambskin one and fell in love with it. The leather felt incredibly soft, something I had never experienced before, and I've received many compliments. Jérôme gives excellent advice."

"In my search for a sleek and chic perfecto-style jacket, I met Jérôme who was able to create the jacket I had in mind. No chest zipper, but instead a blazer-style chest pocket for this brown perfecto that I love to wear."

Questions about this model

FAQ

What is a trucker jacket?

The trucker is inspired by the American denim jacket: a short, straight cut, a buttoned front, chest pockets and often an adjustable waist. In leather, it becomes a piece that works both casual and dressed up.

What does suede leather bring?

Our exceptional suede leathers have a fine grain and a velvety touch, and are known for their durability. They hold their shape well, develop an elegant patina and offer deep, matte colours, like the ochre of the model shown.

Can I choose a different leather or colour?

Yes. The model is shown in ochre suede, but your trucker is made in the leather and colour of your choice, from more than 120 shades. We will guide you according to the look and use you have in mind.

Where is this trucker jacket made?

It is made to order in our Paris workshop, with nickel-free solid brass snap buttons. Small-batch production, consistent finishing, and a fit adjusted to your lengths.

What is the price, and can I try it on?

The customisable trucker is €1,470. Book an appointment at our showroom, 31 Passage Verdeau, Paris 9th, to see the leathers, try on the models and have your measurements taken before ordering.

How do I care for suede leather?

Brush suede with a suede brush to revive the nap, and protect it with a suitable waterproofing spray. It dislikes water and grease stains, so avoid heavy rain. Well cared for, it keeps its look for a long time.
