Our men's leather bomber jackets are customisable and made to order in our Paris workshops in 4 to 6 weeks, from €1,470. You choose the model, the leather, the colour from more than 120, the collar and the pockets.

Which leather for a bomber?
Four families of leather, from the same tanneries as the major luxury houses:
- plongé lambskin, supple and very light, ideal for a bomber worn every day;
- suede lambskin, matt and downy, for a softer finish;
- calf suede, denser, which gives body to the collar and shoulders;
- deerskin, supple and very hard-wearing, for a piece that lasts for years.

Bomber or aviator jacket: what is the difference?
The bomber is short and gathered at the waist. The aviator jacket takes up the 1940s flight jackets: broad shoulders, a straight cut, a commanding collar and thick leather. The bomber is easy to wear in town with a shirt or a fine jumper; the aviator is warmer and bolder.
How do I choose my bomber size?
A bomber is worn close to the body at the waist, with ease across the shoulders. Take your usual size. Adjusting the length of the sleeves and body is included in the price, and our customisable bombers go up to size 62.

Our leather jackets in stock are priced at €990, including the black plongé lambskin Bomber and the in-stock Stand-up Collar Bomber. Made in plongé lambskin from the French tawery Bodin-Joyeux and crafted in Barcelona, they ship within 48 hours, in sizes 44 to 54.
How much does a leather bomber cost at Atelier Bertrand?
Our customisable bombers start at €1,470 and our in-stock bombers are €990. The leather is the one used by the major houses; selling direct from our showroom avoids the cost of intermediaries.
Can I try on a bomber before ordering?
Yes, at the showroom at 31 Passage Verdeau, Paris 9th, Monday to Saturday from 10.30am to 7pm, by appointment. There you can see the models, the leathers and the colour chart.
