The salmon leather card holder

Salmon leather is also valued for its durability. Due to the nature of fish skin, salmon leather is naturally water-resistant, making it an ideal choice for products exposed to moisture. Additionally, this leather is known for its resistance to wear and tear and its ability to retain its original appearance and texture for many years.

Handmade in France guarantees a high level of quality. Skilled artisans ensure that each salmon leather card holder is crafted with care and attention to detail. This artisanal approach gives each product a unique touch and distinctive character.

Finally, it's worth noting that salmon leather is an environmentally friendly choice. It's made from fish skins that are a byproduct of the fishing industry, thus reducing waste. Additionally, the tanning methods used to process fish skin are generally more environmentally friendly than those used for other types of leather.

In short, salmon leather card holders, handmade in France, offer a unique combination of elegance, durability, and environmental friendliness. They are designed to last, while adding a touch of sophistication to your everyday life.

Handmade in France, our salmon leather card holders are the perfect choice for those looking to combine elegance and durability. Salmon leather is a premium material known for its water resistance and soft feel.

It is made from fish skin, a by-product of the fishing industry. The tanning methods used to process fish skin are also more environmentally friendly.

Salmon leather is a unique material distinguished by its texture and depth of color. One of the most striking features of this salmon leather is its scale pattern, which gives it a distinctive look and interesting texture. The salmon scales are visible on the surface of the leather, creating a stylish and natural pattern that adds a touch of character to your card holder.

Besides the scales, the depth of color is another of this leather's assets. Salmon leather comes in a variety of colors, ranging from dark red to silvery gray. These natural colors are obtained from the pigments contained in the fish skin, and they are enhanced by the tanning process. The result is a leather with rich, vibrant colors that add depth and elegance to any product.

In terms of quality, fish leather compares favorably with exotic leather. It is strong and durable, yet supple and pleasant to the touch.

A French workshop labeled “Living Heritage Company”

Our card holders are made in Graulhet, in the south of France, by a workshop certified as a Living Heritage Company. We have been working with them for almost six years now, having been won over by their attention to detail, the quality of their traditional assembly, and their luxurious finishes.

Each card holder is fully lined in caramel dipped lambskin, the same as our jackets.

The hands of the artisans take the greatest care in the making of our leather goods.
This is why each model is:

  • sanded: to remove any rough effect from the edges,

  • threaded: using a threading iron that is delicately passed over the seams to highlight the line and edges of our card holders,

  • tinted: three coats of beeswax stain are applied.
